Mar. 03, 1970 - Englebert Humperdinck And The Strippers Of The Nation': The Strippers of the Nation turn out for singing star Englebert Humperdinck this week to launch the first show in his new International colour series for TV - The Englebert Humperdinck Show, which begins transmission on Sunday April 5th. The strippers are in fact six of the Irving Davies Dancers who provide all the spectacular production routines throughout the series for the next seventeen weeks ATV's wardrobe department have designed the home-made six unique headdresses (valued at 0 each) representing the atmosphere and habits of the different countries including France, Holland, Japan, Germany, USA and England.Photo Shows Tea For Two for Englebert Humperdinck and Christine Pockett, with her teapot headdress representing Great Britain which features in the series, pictured at ATV Studios, Borehamwood today
