Oct. 10, 1976 - Mr. Enoch Powell Calls For Extensive Repatriation Of Immigrants: During speech to a Branch of the Right Wing Monday Club at Fairfield Halls, in Croydon, Surrey, last night, Mr. Enoch Powell, the Ulster MP for South Down, called for extensive repatriation of immigrants. His message was: send a million black people home and spend, 000 million of taxpayers money to do it. The alternative he claimed was the catastrophe of widespread violence'.
