During a speech to the Surrey branch of the Right wing Monday Club at Fairfield Halls, in Croydon, Surrey, last night, Mr. Enoch Powell, the Ulster MP for South Down, called for extensive repatriation of immigrants. His message was: send a million black people home and spend, 000 million of taxpayers money to do it. The alternative, he claimed was the catastrophe of widespread violence, about 30 demonstrators with placards shouted slogans hostile to Mr. Powell outside the hall where he was delivering his speech.
