Feb. 29 February 23rd, 1974 Rebel Tory MP Enoch Powell indicates that people opposing the Common Market should vote Labour. Enoch Powell, the rebel Tory MP, made another attack on the Prime Minister when he made a major speech at a Birmingham rally today, organised by the Get Britain Out Campaign, an anti Common Market movement. He indicated clearly that people opposed to Britain's Common Market membership should vote Labour in next Thursday's General Election. It is time he said to put country before party.
