Feb. 02, 1974 - Rebel Tory Enoch Powell indicates that people should vote Labour in the General election: Mr. Enoch Powell, the rebel Tory. made another attack on the Prime Minister when he made a major speech at the Birmingham rally, organised by the Get Britain Out Campaign, an anti-Common Market movement. He indicated clearly that people should vote Labour in the General Election so as to disentangle Britain from the Common Market. It is time he said to put country before party.
