Enoch Powell visits new school, Wolverhampton

Dec. 12, 1968 - Mr. Enoch Powell attends opening of new school where 80 percent of the pupils are immigrants: Mr. Enoch Powell, the Tory MP for Wolverhampton, South-West, who has caused a great deal of controversy for his outspoken views on immigration, was present yesterday when Mr. Edward Short, Secretary of State for Education and Science, opened the new £80, 000 Grove County Junior School in Wolverhampton, where 80 percent of the pupils are immigrants.
