Dec. 15 A crowd of entertainment and social world notables flocked to the Cinema I Theatre in New York July 30th, to attend the informal hot-dog World Premiere of Enter Laughing hosted by the co-producers Carl Reiner and Joseph Stein, The motion picture comedy hit was adapted from the Broadway stage play by Reiner and Stein with Reiner directing in Technicolor. Starring in the film are Jose Ferrer, Shelley Winters, Klaine Hay, Jack Gilford, Janet Margolin and introducing Reni Santoni.
