Equipment dispersal demonstration, Parkhouse Camp, UK

Oct. 10, 1953 - Equipment Dispersal Demonstration; Large Army ration and equipment dumps will soon be a thing of the past. To minimise the effect of atomic weapons the army of the future must disperse its men and stores over wide areas. Troops are now being trained in the use of new mechanical handling equipment to enable them to move stores quickly from place to place to meet changing circumstances.
