Jan. 01, 1966 - Beauty Contest Case Continues: Four beauty queens - all winners of the Miss Great Britain title, are to give evidence in a case to decide whether a rivel beauty contest, for the Miss Britain title, should be stopped. More and Heysham Corporation have run the Miss Great Britain contest since 1945. Morescambe are seeking damages and an injunction against who run aein of ballrooms to stop them holding the Miss Britain contest or any beauty queen competition with a name similar to the Morescambe contest. Four of the winners of the Miss Great Britain contest, Mrs Joy Black (1962), Mrs Gillian Taylor (1963) Miss Carole Radhead (1964 and Miss Diane Westbury (1965) would be witness for theration. Photo shows Mr Eric Morley who is a director of MECCA LTD and whose company is being sued for damages and an injunction against them running the Miss Britain contest by Morecambe and Heysham Corporation at today's hearing
