Espionage - Spies

Nov. 11, 1955 - Mrs. Simek Returns To Britain - And Faces A Dilemma. British Born Wife Of Czech Prisoner. Mrs. Jean Simek, British born wife of Ivo Simek who is serving a life sentence for espionage and sabotage in a Czech prison - arrived in London yesterday with her three children. She now faces the dilemma. She has three months here with her family - and before leaving Czecho-Slovakia she was told that if she returns with her children - her husband will almost certainly be released. If she does not return the assumption is that he will remain a prisoner. Keystone Photo Shows:- Mrs. Jean Simek bursts into tears as she is greeted by her father on arrival at their Worcester Park home, yesterday. Her daughter Ivana (6) laughs and waves to other members of the family
