Mar. 31 Vladimir Petrov says his wife was a Spy- Finder'. New Andunpublished Photograph: Vladimir Petrov the 44 year old former third Secretary of he soviet Embassy in Canberra, gave more details about the Russian organization in Melbourne Today. He told the royal Commission that the first duty of his wife Evdokia, was to find foreign spies for the Russians. Both Mr. and Mrs. Petrov have been granted political asylum in Australia.Petrov also said that his job on arrival in Australia was to mix with Latvin migrants and plant agents among the people. he also said that Russia trained men who were sent abroad to murder the leaders of anti-soviet groups.
