Feb. 02, 1961 - James Zarb freed from Cairo Jail. Mrs. Zarb hears the news: The news was released this morning that 41 year old James Zarb the Briton, jailed for 10 years by the Egyptians in 1956 on spy charges had been released. His wife Mrs. Elda Zarb was at her home in Hanwell, Middlesex this morning when she heard the news. THe release is said to be an indication of the better relations between Britain and Egypt. and follows the recent appointment of Ambassadors by the two countries. Photo shows Mrs. Zarb at her Hanwell home this morning as she heard the news of her husband's release
