Aug. 08, 1960 - Moscow: Powers sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment On Aug. 19th, the American pilot Francis G. Powers (POWERS) was sentenced, after a trial before the Military Senate of the Chief court of the Soviet Union, the 10 years of imprisonment.
