Aug. 08, 1977 - Phillip Agee expelled from France.: Phillip Agee the former CIA agent deported from Britain has now been expelled from France. he told a press conference in Brussels that his exclusion from France was probably due to CIA pressure to help stop him making further exposures about the agency, Mr Agee was arrested on Wednesday last when he met his wife Angela at Boulogne as she arrived from Britain. he said he was held for 15 hours before being driven to the French border town of Little on Thursday and told to board a train to Belgium.
