Apr. 24, 1957 - The winner of the Lepine Inventor's Contest at Porte de Versailles was decided today. Eugene Porte, an employee of the RATP in Noisy-le-Grand won with the fruit cutter that he created. He is seen here demonstrating how to use it in front of singer Legrand and rock and roll conductor
