Eva Evdokimova and Jurgen Belitz rehearse ballet, Berlin
Sep. 09, 1970 - Premiere of the Grass Ballet : The Berlin ballet event of the coming season. will be shown on October 9th at the Deutsche opera Berlin'. At the 20th Berlin festival (From September 19th till October 9th, 1970), the ballet Vogelscheuchen (Scarecrows) will be played for the first time. Gunter Grass will be in charge as the librettist, the head of the choreography will be Marcel Luitpart. Grass has written the ballet Vogelscheuchen parallel to his book Hundejahre (Dog Years). The music has been composed by the young Berlin composer Aribert Riemann. Our picture shows the star of the ballet Eva Evdokimova at the rehearsal together with Jurgen Belitz. The young ballerina Eva Evdokimova has been awarded the gold medal for classical dance at a ballet contest in Varna, Bulgaria
