Dec. 21 12-years-old Aborigine Girl looks likely Prospect: A 12-years-old Aborigine girl called Evonne Goolagong is being hailed in Australia as a future Wimbledon tennis champion. Top coaches are saying that she will be the next Margaret Smith. Evonne was discovered at the age of nine when she won her first tournament and has now won more titles than she can remember. She has been making her second competition visit to Sydney, during which she has won the Manly Junior age title, the under 14 singles, the New South Wales hard-court under 13 singles, and Crowned it by winning the New South Wales Country Championships for under 15s.
