Exhibition of paintings at Festival Hall, London

Sep. 16, 1958 - Exhibition of paintings by children - adults and chimpanzees at the Festival Hall: An exhibition of paintings called The Lost Image which shows comparisons in art between two children, one age 3 and the other 15 months, a chimpanzee, an Orang-Outan, and adults, was held today at the Festival Hall. The adult artists, who call themselves Tachists, slosh paint on canvases, ride bicycles over them, in fact do anything to produce results. Photo shows 3 year old Timothy Vaughan of Wimbledon, who has paintings exhibited at the exhibition, holds a conference of critics during the exhibition today
