Mar. 03, 1991 - Penny Back Went To Japan: The most famous stamp on earth, the first Penny Black, has a new owner since last Saturday. Within ten minutes the stamp was sold during an auction in Lugano. A Japanese Group paid 3, 4 Million Swiss France for this rare object.
