Oct. 10, 1975 - British climbers return home after their successful Mount Everest Climb.: Members of the British climbers team whooaled the South-West route of Mount Everest, the world's biggest mountain, returned home by air today. They were the first climbers to conquer the South-West face and the first Britons to reach the peak of Everest. Photo shows members of the team pictured on their arrival at Heathrow Airport today.
