Family of eight in Trafalgar Square for Aldermaston March
1958 - Start of Four-day H Bomb Protest March. Family from Cambridge. A four day Easter demonstration March against the H bomb and missile bases organised by 19 socialist MPs started from Trafalgar Square this morning. The marchers are on their way to the Aldermaston Atomic weapons research establishment in Berkshire (49 miles). They will have frequent stops en route for tea etc and will spend the nights at various points on the way. Photo shows Mr. and Mrs. C.
