Famous quadriga returns to Brandenburg Gate, Berlin
Aug. 02, 1958 - The famous Quadriga returns again In the early morning hours of 1.8.58, parts of the newly moulded Quadriga of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin and the Queen of Victory, Viktoria, were brought from West Berlin to the Eastern side of the gate. Now preparations have to been made for 8 days and then the Brandenburg Gate will get the figures on the top. It is thought that the pre-war state of the gate will be finished on September 15th.
