Feb. 12, 1954 - Investigating Double Murder At Old Folk's Home. Photographing Car Tracks: C.I.D. Personnel were to be seen this morning investigating the murder at the Home for Elderly Gentlefolk - in Montpelier Road, Ealing of a lady who calls herself Lady Menzies and her daughter Mrs. Esobel Veronica Chesney. Lady Menzies was found in front of a fire in the ground floor sitting room - and her daughter was half clothed in the bath-room on the top floor. Photo shows Police photographers take pictures of car tracks - which the police had covered with a tarpaulin in front of the house. These car tracks are thought to be a valuable clue to the murderer
