Mar. 03, 1954 - British Officer Honoured By Americans. Brigadierabdy H.G. Ricketts, CBF, DSO, Sachool of Land, Air Warfare, R.A.F. Station Old Sarum, Wilts, receives the Legion of Merit, Degree of Officer, From U.S. Army Attache General R.E.S. Williamson (left) during today;s Investiture, Mar 19, at London's Winfield House. Brigadier Ricketts was decorated for distinguished service as commander of the 29th Britsih infantry division in Korea. The citation praised his forseful leadership, keen discernment of the tactical situation, and able coordination of staff finctions
