Jun. 06, 1958 - American Policemen learn to handle dogs will take them back to states to combat crime.: Five policemen from the United States all senior officers representing New York and other big cities are now in this country to learn about handling dogs in their battle against crime. So far in the United States the police use an effective radio control system machine guns tear gas etc. but seldom if ever are dogs used. The policemen this morning visited the police kennels at West Wickham today to see how the dogs are trained. Photo shows Sgt.
