Nov. 04, 1959 - New Uniforms for the Berlin Police: were introduced to the public on Nov. 3rd, 1959. The most important difference between the old and the new is that the new one will not have a sword-belt. The policemen will now carry their pistols in the shoulder-halter. Also the new uniform has a few pockets less, the jacket is single-waisted with modern revers. For a time of six months, a few policemen only will wear the new uniform and test it in all possible circumstances
