Feb. 26 Firefighting practice on a bombed site. Bank Civil Defence unit in training In response to the Government appeal for business houses to form their own Civil Defence units Mr. A.R. Newman has formed one at the City Offices of the Bank of London and South America. The unit can often be seen in training on bombed sites around Lothbury.
