Sep. 09, 1961 - International Police Meeting in Stuttgart.: 600 German policemen and 500 policemen from abroad came to Stuttgart/Germany for their 3rd IPA (International Police Assoziation) - Meeting. The IPA was founded in 1949 by police sergeant Arthur Proop from Great Britain. Every three years the IPA - members hold their meeting (Paris 1955, Bruxelle 1958) for strengthening of policemen's solidarity all over the world.
