Jan. 01, 1965 - Policeman wounded in Kensington Gum Drama - Making Good progress: Doctors operated today on P.C. Micheal Wheelhouse - the 28 year old policeman - one of the two - who were shot in the Kensington Gun drama last night. They removed the bullet from his arms, and his condition is now satisfactory. The shooting occurred after a white Mercedes car which was being chased by police - crashed into two cars which had already collided in Old Brompton Road. A man dashed from the car - into a basement nearby - the policemen - and a police dog were shot at - the dog was killed. Photo shows P.C. Micheal Wheelhouse in St. George's Hospital - this morning
