Jul. 07, 1964 - Gunwomen amongst the skyscrapers: New York is famous (of infamous) for its violence, and it may come as a surprise to some people that there are women police in the city. Only on ceremonial parades are these intrepid members of the female sex seen in their uniforms. Anonymous and armed with guns, handcuffs, whistles and the other ironmongary common to the U.S. cops, they normally walk the streets in plain clothes, watch for prostitutes and other female offenders. But the woman police have full powers of on the police Rifle Range at Felham Bay, with their Ale counterparts they learn to defend themselves, to shoot if necessary in the many scuffles and attacks which ravage the city.
