Jan. 01, 1971 - Since June 1970, police dog Max a German Shepherd dog assisted by his handler P.C. Charles Peto of P Division, have been training at Keston Metropolitan Police Dog training establishment with the purpose of seeking out explosives. Now at the end of his training Max is the only dog in the world trains for this purport, and his now on duty in and around London.
