Dec. 13, 1972 - Sharpshooter training to counter terrorist and Force: The Munich bloodbath during the Olympic Games 1972 caused to a scheme for setting up a sharpshooter training for special policemen. At present 20 sharpshooters from the the Bonn Police force (see picture) are on an 8 week intensive course which will give them proficiency with both service revolvers and rifles by the end. The recent tragedies in Munich have shown that more than good marksmanship is needed.
