May 05, 1968 - Field gun crew at H.M.S drake take on a ten ton road roller in tug of war match: Devonport field off their week end training session with a tug of war against a ten ton road roller. The roller is kept nearby to roll the training ground after each run, and yesterday after normal training finished the No.1 trainer, P.O (PTI) Sandy Powell, got into the driving seat and challenged the boys. About two dozen tool up the rope and dragged the roller backwards easily (or at least it looked easy). Photo shows with Sandy in the driving seat of the ten ton roller, the boys grab the rope and drag the roller backward
