First aid army training for atomic warfare, near Aldershot
1955 - Army Officers Receive First Aid Instruction For Atomic Warfare: With the revolution in military strategy brought about by the development of atomic weapons more and more Army units are being trained in the first aid and rescue work that has hitherto been the province of Civil Defence. The first of these special first aid courses for junior officers and senior NCOs was held today at the Ewshot Camp, near Aldershot. On the completion of their course they will return to their as instructor in first aid, with special reference to atomic warfare.
