First electronic telephone exchange control centre, Germany

Nov. 11, 1962 - The first electronic driven telephone centre Germany The post-minister of Germany, Richard Stucklen started the first telephone exchange centre of Germany to work by electronic controlling, in Munich, Bavaria. This centre is even the first in the world, equipped with defence gas terminals. The control centre is magnitfildkopplern (magnetic field couplers) (ESM) At present connected to this centre are 500 telephone numbers, which should increase to about 3000.
