Feb. 28 Day of an order of the Hawkers at Nieder-Olm near Mainz A cock-pheasant was the first catch of a hunt arranged by some hawkers from Bavaria and Hessen (Germany) near Stadecken-Elsheim, in the course of which 80 animals were caught (pheasants, hares, hens and rabbits). Occasion for this hunt was the meeting of the German hawker order which took place these days at Nieder-Olm near Mainz; 300 people and 80 animals participated in this meeting.
