Karol is pictured here at Riverside Villas Hunting Preserve, near Homosasa Springs, Florida, which is in the midst of their second season with some of the finest hunting in the South. The season runs from October 1st to April 20th, on the 2, 000 acres set aside for the preserve within the 13, 000 acre Twin County Ranch, in the heart of Central Florida. This area offers a wonderful climate for hunting and fishing. The acreage set aside for hunting is high and dry, covered with black jack, live oak and pine trees. The terrain is ideal for excellent hunting, offering the perfect combination of density and accessibiilty. Hunters meet at the preserve heaquarters on U.S. 19 about five miles south of Homosassa Springs, and here the guide takes the hunting party to the Preserve along with trained dogs, all supplied by Riverside. The sprawling area is regularly stocked with bob-white quail, chukar, (patridge), and pheasant. The birds are turned loose long before the hunters arrive, and live in their natural habitat inside the preserve. The morning hunt begins at 8:30 and lasts until noon, and the afternoon hunt begins at 1:30, or the hunter can make arrangements for all day hunts. The hunt fee os35 per hunt per person. This fee including transportation, and experienced guides as well as trained dogs. Special discounts are available for multiple hunts, such as business firms and group entertainment. Although most hunters prefer their own guns, Riverside has guns available if needed. A limited supply of ammunition is kept on hand, but it is suggested that hunters buy their own brand at their favorite sporting goods shop. Clay target are also available
