Oct. 10, 1960 - ANGLER ALBERT'S GREATEST CATCH £57, 000 It was the fifth catch of the day that surprised 71yearold angler, ALBERT ROBERTS. He was fishing from a bank of the River Thames with four roach tucked away in his catch box when the man from the football pools walked up and said; You have won £57, 323'. Albert thoughtfully reeled in his line, collected his tackle, then turned to the stranger and said. Well that's handy, mate'. Mr, Roberts, father of seven, and a retired coalman, had won two littlewoods Treble Chance first dividends. PHOTO SHOWS: ALBERT ROBERTS gets ready for another catch
