Oct. 30, 1969 - October 30th, 1969 Anti-rabies shoot at Camberley Sixty Ministry of Agriculture marksmen, with 80 soldiers acting as beaters, were taking part today in the anti-rabies hunt across the Old Dean and Baresea commons at Camberley, Surrey, where a dog with rabies ran wild a fortnight ago. Shotguns were being used to kill foxes, hares and rabbits, and a variety of smaller animals and birds who, it is feared may spread the disease.
