Sep. 09, 1974 - Thames Fishing Experiment Staged At Tower Bridge Six teams of anglers were out on the River Thames to see how many kinds of fish can be caught in the heart of London. The experiment sponsored by the Thames Water Authority, is aimed at finding how many of the 70 species between Teddington and the sea have found a home in London now that condition of the river Thames has improved.
