Fleet Air Arm crew training for Royal Tournament

Feb. 02, 1954 - Fleet Air Arm Crew Team Trains For Royal Tournament: Men of the Fleet Air Arm are training at Lee-on-Solent RN Barracks, near Portsmouth for the Royal Tournament. Fifty men are in training which consists of early morning PT followed by a run of up to ten miles -then a dip in the sea, and afterwards gun practice. Photo Shows These men are certainly hardy - for after their dip in the sea they frolic in the snow on the beach.
