Jun. 12, 1969 - Soccer Team That Wants To Emigrate: Here are some of the English amateur soccer team, the Torpedoes, of Reading, Berks, who want to emigrate to Australia - as a team - pictured with their wives and children. They asked the soccer authorities of South Australia to consider this package deal'- and now an Adelaide building farm has been given government approval to find jobs and housing for the group. The Torpedoes play in the Berks and Bucks Sunday league, and their manager, Brian Fielding. a sales representative, says that everyone concerned will shortly be meeting to consider the proposal
