Sep. 09, 1961 - 45, 000 Ford workers may strike over tea: 40, 000 workers employed by Ford may go on strike next week in defence of their claim that they have a right to tea-breaks. The company has suggested a shorter work-week it the employees agreed to out down their breaks for tea. The proposal was thrown back by the union.
