Dec. 12, 1964 - The Fourfathers Entertain Christmas shoppers with Beat Versions of Carols at Hoxton Market, East London. Four Anglican clergymen today played beat versions of religious music and carols to entertain Christmas shoppers at Hoxton Market, London. The group, who call themselves The Fourfathers play their music from a lorry while parishioners collect for charity. The leader is the Rev. Kenneth Loveless, 53 year old Rural Dean of Shoreditch, who plays concertina; Father Jeremy Hutchinson, 32, Vicar of St. John's, Hoxton, is the pianist; father Brian Voucher, 25, assistant curate at Holy Trinity, Hoxton, plays drums, and Father George Parker, 35, Vicar of St. Chad's Haggerston, is the guitarist.
