Dec. 12, 1958 - On his journey to the Wars.: Arliss French made a short stop at the Dusseldorf airport. An American soap company had promised this space trip to the person who would show up with a collection of 900 empty packages of a certain soap make. Since the company had not foreseen this possibility, they found themselves in a big dilemma. Then they discovered a little village in Germany named Mars, and they sent Mr. French there, because the road to the planet is not yet paved
