Mar. 03, 1961 - Married To A Dead Man A German girl, Anna Oswald born at Lorrach (Germany), married posthumously the French Sergeant Andre Chauvin killed in action in Indo-China nine years ago. She met Andre when she was eighteen in Germany where his father was a captain of the French forces. The sergeant applied for a marriage licence after Anna had given birth to a child but was killed in action before he could marry the girl. Anna is now staying with Chauvin's parents in Caen (Normandy) where the posthumous wedding took place. OPS: A portrait of Andre Oswald
