Oct. 10, 1967 - Fake Bakers 250 Million Francs Swindle: One of the biggest financial swindles for years was discovered by the Paris police recently. A fake Banker, Pierre Travers, 64, at the head of the Swindle, managed to escape shortly before a warrant has been issued against him. Thanks to a wide ND efficient publicity he induced 5.000 clients to deposit million worth of gold with his enterprise on which he was paying 10 per cent defrauding the Tax.
