Sep. 09, 1969 - The counter-pope in Lugano: Not having obtained the entry permit for Italy, the counter-pope Clemens XV from France decided to held his annual pilgrim-mass in Lugano. Followed by his cardinal and nuns, he celebrated the mass on the terrace of a night-club (!), assisted by several hundred Italian and Swiss pilgrims
