Jan. 29, 1957 - 29-1-57 Lone yachtsman Francis Chichester leaves Sydney on his perilous voyage back to England Lone yachtsman Francis Chichester sailed out from Sydney Harbour today in his famous yacht Gipsy Moth IV for his voyage back to Plymouth round Cape Horn. The Queen sent a good-luck message to Chichester yesterday, whom she had made a Knight the previous day.
