Franco Citti, Italian actor, released from prison

Jun. 05, 1962 - Franco Citti the famous Accattone the film taken from discussed Italian writer Pier Paolo Pasolini, was released from prison, where he was taken some days ago and then condemned to one year of imprisonment having had a quarrel with some workers who peacefully worked in Piazza del Popolo. The actor was with a friend and came back from a restaurant, where he got drunk. He had to give up the role in Mamma Roma the filming where he had a big and important part together with Anna Magnani.
